This question was the focus of the webinar “With integrated battery storage to a profitable charging station”, which took place on October 9, 2025. It was hosted by ELMI Power and trawa, two partners who are working together on the future of intelligent energy systems.

While ELMI Power presented the hardware and system architecture, trawa showed how profitable operation and additional returns can be achieved through smart power procurement and targeted battery optimization.
“We don’t just want to build charging infrastructure – we want to operate it economically,” says Stefan Hahn.
“Battery optimization is the key to thinking holistically about locations – from energy generation to use,” added Jonathan Waldenfels.
The webinar was met with great interest – numerous participants from the energy, real estate and mobility sectors took the opportunity to ask questions about technology, efficiency and implementation.
